CAMBRIDGE City enjoyed a deserved victory over Takeley in an entertaining contest.
City started brightly, moving the ball with purpose and creating early openings.
Skipper Jayden Randell was a constant threat, and he broke the deadlock after 35 minutes with a well-taken finish.
Despite further chances to stretch the advantage, City were punished when Jack Mitchell struck after 73 minutes to level matters.
The response was immediate. Sam Coombes restored the lead six minutes later with a superb strike.
