TWO second-half goals gave Stanway Rovers a victory in a scrappy encounter against their local rivals.
Billy Lawlor in the Witham goal saved well in the 17th minute. A Sam Bantick free-kick eight minutes later went close to opening the scoring for the visitors before Stanway’s Jamie Bennett fired a fierce shot just over the crossbar.
