■ WILLAND moved to within three points from safety as they secured a vital win over fellow strugglers Brixham.
The hosts made a strong start with Charlie Bateson and Finlay Rooke going close to opening the scoring.
Willand fans were left scratching their heads as to how they hadn’t scored after 55 minutes as Calum Thomas’ cross looped off the bar into the path of Rooke. However, the forward missed the target.
