BIGGLESWADE Town continued in third place this week, as they just squeezed past a stubborn London Lions at the Carlsberg Stadium.
Things looked bright for the hosts in the early exchanges, as Rian Silver was brought down by captain Adam Lipman for a penalty. However, Damani Hunter could only blast the 16th-minute spot-kick onto the bar.
His blushes would ultimately be spared after the interval, as Harrison Rookard showed him a thing or two about finishing to fire a well-taken effort past Lions’ keeper Nathan Bloohn ...
