MK IRISH dented Hertford Town’s promotion push with an impressive win.
Hertford were the better side in the first 15 minutes, but this shook Irish into action, and they fired in two quick goals through Ryan Smith, who slotted the ball nicely into the bottom corner and George Shrieves, who was aided by a kind deflection.
Shrieves and Kwai Marsh-Brown then went close to extending this lead for the hosts as they dominated the first half.
