■ WALTHAM ABBEY remain in the play-off places, but they needed a second-half equaliser to earn a share of the points against Brightlingsea Regent.
Mid-table Regent were looking good value for an upset win at half-time, but were unable to hold on.
A 28th-minute foul on Dan Rowe, just outside the penalty area, resulted in the opening goal as a Fin Adams free-kick into the danger area eluded Brad Robinson and Matt Tricker rose to head home at the far post.
