■ IN a drab winter game, the majority of the 565 in attendance were scratching their heads as Aylesbury won a penalty after Tolu Ikuyinminu was punished for a tame flailing leg.
Wil Turner made no mistake with the 23rd minute spotkick, powering down the middle as Dan Hosier dived.
After the break, Leighton restored parity in scrappy fashion. Six minutes after kick-off, Ikuyinminu put in a dangerous cross that the travelling Ducks failed to deal with, and with Charlie Pattison nodding down, it was scrambled home inadvertently by an orange shirt.
