MONEYFIELDS moved level on points with leaders Leatherhead with a narrow victory over bottom club Fareham, who are now 20 points from safety.
Jamie Arnold had the first chance, a long-range drive that narrowly missed the Moneys goal.
Fareham keeper Des McCarthy was called into action after 24 minutes, but easily saved Alfie Bridgman’s shot.
The Fareham goal lived a charmed life after 30 minutes as four shots from Moneyfields players were somehow blocked.
