■ GORLESTON grabbed a victory over Downham Town to move back into the play-off places.
The hosts had the better of the opening quarter but Downham grew into the game, although neither side created any clear-cut chances.
The first-half ended with neither side creating much threat.
After Joe Marsden hit a shot narrowly wide, the decisive moment came in the 72nd minute when Marsden’s cross from deep on the right found Johnson inside the six-yard box, and he turned it into the net.
