PORTISHEAD Town boosted their Southern League South Division promotion hopes with a hard-fought victory over Melksham Town at Bristol Road.
Despite the visitors striking first through Mark Cooper after 35 minutes, the Posset responded superbly. Jay Scott Murray levelled from the penalty spot just before half-time.
