NEWMARKET Town and Grays Athletic battled it out in a dismal draw that contained little quality from both sides.
Gabriel Chapps’ early free-kick for Grays went just over before Newmarket keeper, James Young, was out quickly to beat Aron Gordon to the ball.
The game came briefly to life midway through the first half.
Firstly, Aron Gordon finished off Grays best move of the afternoon before Louis Jenkins equalised when the visitors’ defence dithered.
