■ MALDON & TIPTREE’S Isthmian League North title hopes suffered a blow as the leaders went down at third-placed Waltham Abbey.
After a goalless first half at Capershotts, the hosts struck first in the 56th minute when Benjamin Baker scored.
The Jammers responded well and Freddie Sears levelled in the 63rd minute to restore hope for the visitors.
