EASTBOURNE TOWN were spot on as they halted Sittingbourne’s play-off charge with an accomplished performance to make the Brickies crumble.

The hosts were ahead after 17 minutes when Alfi e Rogers squeezed a penalty underneath keeper Jamie Grosshart after Ollie Davis was sensationally denied by a Ben Swift handball save in front of goal.

After the break, Eastbourne were awarded a second penalty and Rogers’ luck was really in – Grosshart making a superb save but Rogers scored the rebound.
