MALVERN Town secured their grip on second place with a thrilling three-point at Cockrams in the Southern League Division One South.
Lee Hooper’s side came straight out of the blocks, knocking the ball about well as the Hillsiders settled into the game in the early exchanges.
The first chance of any note fell to Yuri Quintas, who squeezed the ball in at the back post only a minute into the game for the visiting side.
