BRANTHAM Athletic secured only their third win of the campaign with a narrow success at Takeley.
Reuben Chinnery – with his third in three games – notched the only goal of a tight affair midway through the first half.
The home side began brightly at Station Road, but it was the basement boys who got their noses in front when Chinnery struck.
Takeley continued to have the better of the proceedings, but were unable to take any of their chances.
