■ ASHFORD United dealt a damaging blow to Faversham Town’s play-off aspirations on Good Friday.
The visiting Lilywhites, who axed boss Tommy Warrilow last night, had the only noteworthy shots of the first half with Nathan Wood firing wide and Josh Ajayi shooting over.
Faversham nearly broke the deadlock in the 70th minute when both Ben Gorham and Tommie Fagg saw efforts cleared off the line, Barry Fuller making the blocks.
