RAYNERS Lane’s fate may have been sealed some weeks ago, but they dealt a near-fatal blow to Enfield’s survival hopes with a victory at Hertingfordbury Park.
Lane took the lead after 26 minutes, with star man Pharrell Mensah getting the goal.
On the stroke of half-time, the lead was doubled as Samuel Ogunniyi got on the scoresheet.
Enfield made two changes at the break, sending on Samir Ali and George Sykes, and it had a positive effect, because the Es halved
