■ MELKSHAM Town secured a vital victory away at Hartpury, with Kyle Witt’s first-half strike proving decisive in a tense and scrappy encounter.
Clear chances were few and far between in a game that was difficult to watch at times, but the visitors will be unconcerned as they claimed three crucial points in their fight for survival.
The winning goal came after 18 minutes when Adam Forster delivered an excellent long pass to Jordan Williams, who provided the cross for Witt to cleverly flick home.
