Stanway Rovers were awarded a penalty after 25 minutes, when Alex Bolovan was brought down in the area by Ronnie Winn – Nat Mardell converted from the spot.
Rovers wasted no time in doubling their advantage, scoring straight from the kick-off, as Jamie Bennett took the ball into his stride and calmly finished past the goalkeeper.
