■DOWNHAM Town signed off their Isthmian League campaign with a hard-earned point at home to Waltham Abbey. Already relegated, Town showed resilience to come from behind and bow out of Step Four football on a positive note.
They made the worst possible start, falling two goals down inside the opening nine minutes. Luke Deslandes struck twice to put the visitors firmly in control.
However, the hosts responded before the break, with Harley Murkin pulling a goal back.
