■WELWYN Garden turned in a five-star performance to inflict a first defeat of the season on Stotfold.
After an even opening period, a tremendous 30-yard strike from fullback Brad Dixon-Smith after 28 minutes, sent the hosts on their way to an outstanding victory.
Ethan Rookard headed a second nine minutes later and Tyreece Robertson added the third before the break.
Evaristo Mendes made it four, touching a Keiran Gauthier header from a corner over the line with 20 minutes to go.
