Billy Holland knows his Waltham Abbey have got something special going on – his players keep turning down seven-day approaches from other clubs!
Tuesday night’s 1-0 win over Stanway Rovers extended the Abbotts’ Isthmian North winning streak to seven on the spin and lifted them up to third place in the table.
It’s a run that has seen Holland’s side hit 22 goals – including seven against fellow promotion rivals Felixstowe & Walton United – and keep four clean sheets.
And it’s all the more pleasing as a reaction from a 6-0 loss to Maldon & Tiptree on the back of success...
