FORMER Manchester City and Preston North End striker Jon Macken is the new manager of Northern Premier League West side Colne.
Macken, who previously led Radcliffe to promotion, has signed until the end of the 2022-23 season and replaces Nathan Rooney, who resigned on Tuesday.
Macken said: “I’m delighted to have this opportunity with such a progressive club. It’s clear everything is in place to be successful.
“I have been at the club before as an opposition manager and I had a great feel for the place, and especially for the fans who are fantastic.”
