Relegation candidates Hanley Town face a challenge against high-flying Leek Town on Saturday.
Hanley Town are 17th in the Northern Premier League Division One – West table, and have picked up eight wins and seven draws in their 26 games to date.
Leek, meanwhile, are top of the standings with 56 points, having won 17 and drawn five of their first 27 matches.
With 62 goals in 27 games so far this season, Leek are the league's highest scorers with 2.3 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 32 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.
Hanley, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 0.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.4. They have conceded 1.3 goals per game.
Hanley Town are in disappointing form in the Northern Premier League Division One West, with one win and three draws from their last six games.
With three wins and three draws over that period, Leek Town's form is much better – they have taken 12 points from 18, compared to the home team's six.
In the last three years, Hanley and Leek have played each other on three occasions. Leek won two of them and they drew once.
Their last meeting was on November 7, when Leek won 2-1 at home.
Hanley's last match was on February 17, a 1-1 draw against Prescot Cables.
Leek drew 2-2 with Vauxhall Motors last time out, also on February 17.
