Proud boss Danny Greaves believes Frome Town’s quick-fire turnaround from the brink of extinction to title winners is “pretty remarkable”.
The Robins were crowned Southern League Division One South champions on Monday, when they came back from 2-1 down to defeat Shaftesbury 3-2 in front of a bumper 1,096 crowd.
It came less than 12 months after the Somerset club’s future was thrown into doubt after the owners of the club’s Badger Hill stadium got into financial difficulties.
