GRAY’S AT THE NEXT PLATFORM

HARROGATE Railway Athletic have appointed former club captain Liam Gray as their new manager.
He replaces caretaker boss Ray Green, Rail’s long-serving U18s manager, who stepped into the breach after Paul Beesley’s sudden departure in late February.
Green kept the club in the Premier Division, although they were hammered 10-1 by FA Vase finalists and champions Cleethorpes Town in one of their last games.
Gray has named Green as his assistant at Station View, while other former players, Lee Ryan, and Dennis Metcalfe, complete the management team.
