BRIGG Town have promoted their under 18s boss Lee Thompson to first team manager.
The move follows the departure of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One outfit’s management team ofAnthony Bowsley, Nathan Peat, Paul Robson and John Shirley.
A club statement said: “The club would like to put on record its grateful thanks for all their hard work and wish them best of luck in the future.”
Thompson, who has 15 years’ experience, has also been with local sides Messingham and Broughton.
