HOLBEACH UNITED got their title challenge off to a rip-roaring start with a 6-0 home hammering of SLEAFORD TOWN.
In a Saturday morning game brought forward for the groundhoppers weekend involving the United Counties League and its feeder, the Peterborough & District League, once Lewis Leckie gave the Tigers an 18thminute lead, they never looked back. Will Baird added a double for Seb Hayes’ side on 50 and 53 minutes, and Nick Jackson scored a fourth two minutes later.
