JOHN Edwards has been appointed as the new manager of Midland League Division One outfit Studley.
Edwards enjoyed much success with local Sunday side Black Horse and broke into Saturday football management with fellow Division One outfit Littleton.
He replaces Vaughan Pearshouse, who took over from Keith Draper midway through last season, but quit with a game to go.
Pearshouse, who had been with Studley for 19 months, was told he would have to re-apply for his own job after Edwards was also invited for interview.
