LIFE is very rarely dull at AFC Portchester’s Crest Finance Stadium – in fact not even a lockdown can prevent it from being a vital part of the community.
Whether it is the Wessex League Premier club’s three function rooms packed with people or one of the community groups which regularly use the club’s facilities, the Wicor Recreation Ground is one of the main hubs for sporting and social activities in the Hampshire town.
And even though there is no sport, community groups or functions, the doors to the stadium have remained open to house the AFC Portchester Covid-19...
