SHAKERS SNAP UP STRIKE DUO

AMBITIOUS Bury have raided Northern Counties East League champions Emley AFC – not once, but twice!
First, the Shakers snapped up prolific striker Ruben Jerome, who bagged 34 goals in last season’s title-winning side.
And boss Dave McNabb followed that up by adding Jerome’s main source of goals last season, pacey winger Iyrwah Gooden, who became his second capture of the summer.
Between them, the pair notched up over 60 goals for Emley last term.
