DES LANDS INAUGURAL TOWN ROLE

FORMER Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby, Rotherham and Chesterfield player Des Hazel has been unveiled as manager of newly-named Keighley Town.
Hazel takes over the Northern Counties East Premier side – formerly known as Eccleshill United – fronting a four-man management team.
The former Bradford City and FC Halifax Town coach will be joined by Eccleshill’s record appearance maker and Bradford City legend Ces Podd, as well as ex-Burnley, Leeds, Wolves and Crewe player Roger Eli and Liam McNicol who has vast experience locally.
