THIS contest kicked off late but it was the visitors who handled the delay better and deservedly came away with the points.
Both teams started slowly, with Leiston having the first real chance, a free-kick in the 12th minute, but Byron Lawrence couldn’t capitalise. Both defences were on top but it was The Church who took the lead in the 28th minute as a run by Joshua Ezewele took him into the box to dispatch a great finish into Charlie Beckwith’s bottom corner.
