STRIKER Ryan Dove grabbed a late equaliser to maintain AFC Rushden’s encouraging start to the season.
Redditch deserved to lead at half-time, thank to Rhys Hilton’s excellent finish.
But Diamonds dominated the second period and got their rewards ten minutes from time when Dove slammed in the loose ball after Jack Ashton’s initial effort from a deep Sam Brown free-kick was blocked.
Rushden might have snatched victory in stoppage time but sub Sam Johnson prodded a Ben Farrell corner inches wide.
