A DISAPPOINTING result for Merthyr in a game where both teams contributed to a great game of football.
The home side were out of the blocks first, applying early pressure and on 15 minutes Ian Traylor finished with a great deal of composure after Lee Lucas had won the ball. Chesham responded quickly though and just three minutes later were level with a goal of some quality.
Kyle Patten beat Romario Hart to a ball just inside the box but it broke to David Pearce who curled the ball home from 18 yards.
