BANBURY moved into the play-off places with a narrow victory at Needham.
The hosts almost took the lead on 11 minutes, Joe Neal returning possession to Joseph Marsden, whose shot was saved well by goalkeeper Jack Harding.
Ten minutes later, the Reds went close again with a long ball being held up by Neal who found Marsden to lay off to Luke Ingram to fire narrowly past the far post.
Banbury had a great chance on 34 minutes, Pablo Haysham hitting a low strike just wide of the bottom far corner.
