DORCHESTER Town soaked up long spells of pressure from Yate Town who created countless chances but squandered the lot. The hosts took most of their comparatively few chances to climb out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
An early Jack Twyman shot deflected wide for Yate while Jake Lee was denied by a clearance in front of goal by Callum Rose.
A poor ball from the Magpies keeper, Shane Murphy, nearly proved costly but Louis Britton’s 40-yard lob attempt bounced over back-pedalling Murphy and his crossbar.
