GOALKEEPER Josh Benton was the hero as Romulus survived slipping without tripping on the banana skin provided by lower-ranked Leicester Road.
Benton saved Liam Read’s early penalty and produced a double one-on-one save from Matt Langham to keep the score sheet blank in the first half of a 0-0 draw. Opposite number Will Highland got in on the act with a save in the penalty shootout and Road led 3-1, before Benton blocked Dominic Brennan’s effort.
