THE Vickers were made to defend for long periods in the first half but Borough were wasteful.
VCD’s Kojo Awotwi was denied by a last-ditch tackle, before Borough’s Ali Fuseini shot over with a speculative effort.
Borough had their best chance of the half in the final minute when a deep ball reached Jack Barham, but he missed with the goal gaping.
The second half was more of the same, with Greenwich dominating, but struggling to make a breakthrough despite having chances.
