IT’S TIME TO TOAST STAN

HEATON Stannington serve one of the best pints in the north east – and that’s official.
The Ebac Northern League Division Two Stan have been named Tyneside Club of the Year in the annual competition run by Tyneside and Northumberland CAMRA.
The High Heaton outfit won one of eight categories for pubs, social clubs and sports clubs. CAMRA member Martin Ellis said:
“Heaton Stannington won the award a number of years ago and it’s a great achievement to win this year’s award.
