MARTIN IS OF THE RIGHT ILK AS BOSS

EARLY Midland Premier Division pacesetters Ilkeston Town have named Martin McIntosh as their new manager.
McIntosh, 47, replaces Nottingham Forest legend Steve Chettle, who last month joined Notts County as their first-team coach.
One of more than 20 applicants for the job, the former Hibernian, Stockport County, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town and Alfreton Town central defender spent six years as manager of Buxton before leaving in February. He was previously in charge at Worksop Town.
