WREXHAM goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi will miss the club’s next three games after failing in his attempt to overturn the red card he received during a 4-2 defeat at home to Alfreton last weekend.
The Dragons stopper was given his marching orders 13 minutes into the second half after appearing to elbow Leigh Francis in the penalty area.
Wrexham deemed the sending off harsh and appealed but The FA’s disciplinary panel upheld the matchday official’s decision and Mayebi will begin an automatic three-game ban with immediate effect.
The suspension means he will miss Tuesday night’s Conference Premier game at Southport and subsequent home games with Hereford United and Gateshead.
