GARY HACKETT has continued his summer rebuild at Stourbridge with the signings of Kristian Green and Tom Tonks from neighbours Halesowen Town.

The Glassboys finished a disappointing 16th last season in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier after being moved laterally from the Southern Premier.

Hackett has now added five new faces with defender Stuart Pierpoint, Lee Chilton and Charlie Price also arriving at Amblecote.

Right-back Green, 24, was Halesowen’s joint players’ player of the year after an impressive season for the Yeltz.

Also making the switch to Stourbridge is central midfielder Tonks. The 23-year-old enjoyed two successful seasons at The Grove and won the chairman’s player of the year last term.
