CORBY TOWN, relegated from the National League North last season, will begin life back at Step 3 on the road after the Northern Premier League’s fixtures were released on Friday morning.

The Steelmen, who were switched to the Southern Premier this summer before moving back, will travel to Matlock Town on the opening day of the season – Saturday August 13.

Ambitious Spennymoor Town are also on the road and will visit another team relegated from Step 2 – Hednesford Town.

Evo-Stik NPL Division One North champions Warrington Town welcome Stourbridge while the Division One South promoted clubs, Stafford Rangers and Coalville Town, both face tough away trips.

Stafford, who won the league, head to the north east to face Blyth Spartans while Coalville make the much shorter trip to Ilkeston.

In Division One North, Hyde United will be looking to get off to a good start after three straight relegations and they welcome promoted Tadcaster Albion on the first day.
