WAYNE HALLCRO has left his role as Loughborough Dynamo boss by mutual consent with the club struggling in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South.

The former Belper Town assistant and Graham joint-manager became the sixth different man in the Dynamo dugout last season when he took over in March.

Dynamo were four points adrift of safety when he took charge but he steered the club out of the relegation zone and they finished two points clear of the bottom two.

This season has seen the Leicestershire side continue to struggle, however, and Dynamo announced on Wednesday that Hallcro had departed by “mutual consent”.

Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Kidsgrove Athletic was Dynamo’s seventh in a row and 15th in their last 16 league games, leaving them second bottom of the table.

A club statement read: “Wayne Hallcro has left his post as manager of Loughborough Dynamo by mutual consent.

“Wayne joined Dynamo late last season and steered Dynamo to safety after a relegation battle.

“The directors of Loughborough Dynamo wish to thank Wayne for all his work for the club, and send him all good wishes for the future.”
