Martin Allen has made another impressive signing at Chesterfield in centre-back Will Evans from their National League rivals Aldershot.
The 25-year-old played a key part in helping the Shots reach the play-offs in the last two seasons.
He made 80 appearances for Gary Waddock’s side and scored seven goals after signing from Eastleigh in the summer of 2016.
In a statement on the club’s website, Allen said: “This afternoon we have signed a 26-year-old centre-back called Will Evans, who is good in the air, quick, good on the ball and he’s had in the last two years, experience of getting into the play-offs at this level.
“At 26, he’s in his prime and he has signed a two-year contract.”
