Rushden in peak performance!

After finally achieving promotion at the third time of asking last season, AFC Rushden & Diamonds manager Andy Peaks is enjoying life in Step 3.

“The journey so far has been really special and it has been an absolute honor to help return the club to where they should be” Peaks, who made over 200 appearances for Diamonds between 1992 and 1997, told The NLP.
“Being community owned has added an extra dimension of passion to things because it has helped to bring the fans together and it is nice to know that everyone has an equal stake in the club.
“To be honest we have taken ourselves a little bit by surprise with how quickly we have been able to rise up the pyramid and maybe now it is time to think more about consolidation.”
