Nantwich Town dealt Jaaskelainen blow

The Finland youth international has helped the Dabbers to 4th place in the Northern Premier League this season.

Nantwich Town

Northern Premier League title chasers Nantwich Town have been dealt a blow this morning with the news that  young goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen has been recalled from his loan spell by Crewe Alexandra.
The Finland youth international has been a regular starter between the sticks at the Weaver Stadium this year, helping the Dabbers to 4th place in the NPL, nine points behind current league leaders Farsley Celtic.
Jaaskelainen, who is the son of Bolton legend Jussi, spent time on loan at Nantwich last season and has had previous stints in Non-League with the likes of Buxton, Loughborough Dynamo and Chester FC.
The shot stopper is expected to go straight into the Crewe first team squad for their trip to Mansfield this weekend after Dave Richards was ruled out with injury.
