The 10 most iconic pieces of NFL gear for real fans

Football is an exciting sport which has a fan base the world over. While it can be a combative sport, and one which has a lot of hidden depths to it, it is also something which can be incredibly viable if you take the time to explore it properly. One of the most interesting facts about this sport is that it has a lot of incredible football gear.
So if you wanted to collect some of this gear for yourself, how would you do it? Let’s take a look at the most iconic pieces of NFL gear of all time.
The Signed Shirt
There’s few things more appealing to a football fan than some signed merch. To be able to touch an item which has been held by your favourite player? Priceless, much.
Thankfully, these items aren’t going to be massively difficult to acquire – so long as you have a bit of money or the good fortune to run into one of these people in the street. There’s a lot of different options, but if you hunt around, you might just find one.
A Signed Ball
It’s not an uncommon situation for a ball to fly out of bounds during a game and into the stadium. When this happens, people tend to scrap and pull for that ball because sometimes, it is gifted to a fan.
Official Jersey
The official jersey is a treasured item. Every club will have one that fans can wear to the games. It is a unique fashion statement which shows the world who you support. For real fans, there’s no substitute.
Collecting the official jersey is like the rite of passage for some fans. It shows that they are dedicated and loyal, and that they will do whatever they can to support the team. It’s a beautiful gesture.
Club Hoodies
Some teams, especially those located in a colder area, will have a hoodie for sale as well as the jersey. This is much the same principle as the jersey, and it is just as important for a lot of fans.

Autographs From Players
So when it comes to getting the most out of the game, a lot of fans try to collect autographs of their favourite players because this is a tangible connection to them. It is often a challenge for the players to collect autographs from every member of the team. Understandably, this can be a difficult task, but a worthwhile one.
Scarves
Scarves are probably the most common of all gear alongside jerseys. It’s an easy way of showing your loyalty in both the hot and cold.
Badges
Sometimes people like to invest in badges that you can attach to a jacket, cap or bag. It’s a nice little way for people to try and come up with something different and unique, and you should definitely give it a go when you want to do something a little bit different.
Photos
Photographs of players are also pretty popular among the fans. They’re a memory of a particular game or event that they can have for the rest of their lives, and that is, to be honest, quite nice. You don’t often get it to be the case that people can have these memories preserved in physical form – it is lovely, to be honest.

Commemorative Gear
Sometimes, when the games are especially important or memorable, the club or stadium will release commemorative gear for people to buy. These will be unique pieces that you don’t normally get, which understandably raises their value significantly.
Hats
Hats are a wonderful thing, and most commonly associated with sporting events. A lot of clubs will have their own hat, and so collecting these hats will be the mark of a true fan. They can come in many different sizes and shapes, however, what is most important is that they will have the logo of the team on them.
In conclusion, these are just some of the different options that you have available to you when it comes to iconic football gear. All of these are pretty incredible and do offer something exciting and unique every time. However, what you have to appreciate is that when it comes to collecting the more coveted items, you need to be quick off the mark and ready to jump on odd bits and pieces. Not everything is readily available and this is pretty crushing to have to deal with, which is why a lot of the time you’ll be hunting around trying to get that good deal. Thankfully, it is worth it to be able to enjoy an incredible set of items and the experiences which come with them. A lot of these can be obtained via interactions with both the games and the players, which is nice when you’re looking to create some memories.
