GOALS from Harry Vince and Nat Brown ended Boston United’s season-long search for a home Saturday victory.
The strikes in a freeflowing match helped to ease the Pilgrims’ worries in the lower reaches of the table and dented ten-man Salford’s playoff ambitions.
There was no shortage of drama. City went close early when ex-Pilgrim David Norris and Mike Phenix drew saves from Ross Durrant.
In reply, Boston’s Jay Rollins, Mani Diesersuvwe and Brown all had efforts hacked off the line during a massive scramble.
